Aero Mechanical Industries, an FAA and EASA certified repair station, is hiring for the following positions:

 

Sheet Metal Mechanic  - skills will include the following

  •  Structural Rebuilding of flight controls and sheet metal repairs

     

  • Thrust Reversers Experience

     

  • Using Alignment Jigs and Fixtures

     

  • Forming and fabrication of parts

     

  • Aircraft corrosion control and paint shop

     

  • Weight and balancing

     

  • Rigging of flight control surfaces

     

  • SRM and OHM Repairs

     

  • Must have minimum 3 to 5 years experience working in repair station, airline, or military service. 

     

  • Must have own tools, familiar with OEM Technical Data and Repair Data.

     

  • Premium paid for A or A & P License Salary DOE 

     

 

Composite Mechanic  - skills will include the following:

 

·        Composite Repair

 

·        Fiberglass Lay-up

 

·        Metal Honeycomb Bonding

 

·        Prepreg Lay-up

 

·        Graphite Repairs

 

·        Must have minimum 3 to 5 years experience working in repair station, airline, or military service. 

·        Must have own tools, familiar with OEM Technical Data and Repair Data. 

·        Premium paid for A or A & P License Salary DOE

 

 

 

 

An Airframe and Power plant mechanic  - skills will include the following:

 

·        Metal honeycomb bonding

 

·        Structural rebuilding of flight controls and sheet metal repairs

 

·        Thrust Reversers

 

·        Using alignment jigs and fixtures

 

·        Forming and manufacturing of parts

 

·        Aircraft corrosion control and paint shop

 

·        Weight and balancing

 

·        Rigging of flight control surfaces

 

·        Graphite and baron repairs

 

·        SRM and EO repairs

 

·        Service bulletins and modifications, all of which were accomplished in accordance  with blue prints

 

·        Structural repair manuals

 

·        Illustrated parts catalogues

 

·        Overhaul manuals

 

·        Must have minimum 3 to 5 years experience working in repair station, airline, or military service.

·        Must have own tools, familiar with OEM Technical Data and Repair Data.

·        Premium paid for A & P License Salary DOE

 

 

 

Aircraft Parts Sander/Prep Position - skills include the following:

 

 

Position involves manual dexterity and ability to use air sander to sand paint off and prepare aircraft structures for paint before reconditioning process; must be able to stand and work for duration of shift; must be able to work in dusty and dirty conditions.

 

 

 

 

Aerospace Structures Engineer with a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field

 

 

At least seven (7) years experience in Business and Commercial Aviation aircraft repairs and alterations and / or related engineering experience.  You MUST HAVE prior experience working with the Federal Aviation Authority (FAA) and be a Structures Designated Engineering Representative (DER).  Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: planning, developing, coordinating, and directing complex major engineering projects; preparing and providing approval for engineering data (drawings, test plans, structural analysis, reports, parts lists and related supporting documents) in accordance with manufacturer specifications and instruction manuals, STC’s, FAA regulations, company approved procedures, acceptable industry practices, and customer expectations; make independent engineering decisions based on data, experience and mathematical analysis; provide engineering technical assistance to company personnel and team members.
